1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms govern your use of the BRDG website at brdg.now, its interface, its API and any related software (together, the "Service"), operated by BRDG ("we", "us"). By connecting a wallet, requesting a quote or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organisation.

2. Eligibility and sanctions

By using the Service you represent that:

  • you are at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract where you live;
  • you are not the subject of economic or trade sanctions administered by the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom or any other applicable authority, and you are not owned or controlled by, or acting for, anyone who is;
  • you are not located in, organised in or ordinarily resident in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions;
  • you will not use a VPN or any other tool to hide your location in order to get around a restriction that would otherwise apply to you; and
  • your use of the Service does not break any law that applies to you, and the funds you move are not the proceeds of crime.

We may restrict access to the Service from any location, or for any wallet address, at our discretion. Venues apply their own eligibility and screening rules on top of ours.

3. What BRDG is

BRDG is a non-custodial interface that compares cross-chain routes offered by independent third-party bridges, solvers and exchanges ("Venues"), such as Relay, Mayan, Across, NEAR Intents, deBridge, LI.FI and others. We request quotes from Venues, rank them by what you are expected to receive, and help you prepare a transaction that you then review and sign in your own wallet.

BRDG does not hold your private keys and cannot move funds from your wallet. Apart from the single case described in the next section, your funds never pass through a wallet we control: the transfer is carried out by the Venue you choose and by the blockchains involved. We are not a party to your transaction with a Venue, we do not operate the Venues, and we do not act as a broker, exchange, money transmitter, custodian or financial institution.

Quotes are estimates provided by Venues. Prices, fees, timing and output amounts can change between the quote and execution, and a Venue may fail, delay or partially complete a transfer.

4. Deliveries to Hyperliquid (HyperCore)

One route works differently, and we want to be plain about it. When you send funds to a Hyperliquid (HyperCore) account through a route that is forwarded by BRDG, the Venue delivers USDC on Arbitrum to a relayer wallet operated by BRDG. The relayer then deposits that USDC into the Hyperliquid account you named. For the short time between the Venue delivering and the relayer forwarding, BRDG holds those funds.

If the forward to Hyperliquid fails, we will return the USDC to you on Arbitrum. The route is shown as forwarded by BRDG in the quote before you sign. Our responsibility in this case is limited to forwarding or returning the USDC our relayer actually received, and is otherwise subject to the limits in these Terms to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for what the Venue delivers to the relayer, for the operation of Hyperliquid or Arbitrum, or for an incorrect destination account you provide.

5. Fees

BRDG may charge a platform fee on a transfer, and a referral fee may apply when you arrive through a referrer. Any such fee is included in the quote you see before you sign, along with the amount you are expected to receive. Venues charge their own fees, which are also reflected in their quotes.

Network fees (gas) are separate. You pay them to the relevant blockchain from your own wallet, they are not refundable by BRDG, and they may be charged even if a transaction fails.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your wallet, private keys and recovery phrase safe. We cannot recover them and cannot reverse a transaction you sign;
  • checking every detail of a transaction before you sign it, including the source and destination chains, the token, the amount and the recipient address;
  • making sure the destination address can receive the asset on the destination chain;
  • paying all network fees for the transactions you send;
  • determining and paying any taxes that apply to your transactions, and keeping your own records; and
  • following the terms of each Venue, wallet and blockchain you use through the Service.

7. Prohibited uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • launder money, finance terrorism, evade sanctions or commit fraud or any other crime;
  • move funds that you know or suspect come from illegal activity;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
  • attack, overload or interfere with the Service, including by scraping it beyond the published API limits or trying to bypass rate limits;
  • probe for or exploit vulnerabilities, or introduce malware, except through responsible disclosure to us;
  • manipulate prices, volume, rankings or the leaderboard; or
  • help anyone else do any of these things.

8. Third-party venues and protocols

Every transfer is executed by a Venue and settled on public blockchains that BRDG does not own or control. Each Venue runs its own software and applies its own terms, fees, limits, compliance checks and refund rules. We do not guarantee the availability, performance, security or solvency of any Venue, bridge, blockchain, wallet or token.

A Venue may screen a transfer for sanctions or other compliance reasons and may refuse, delay, hold, freeze or flag it. A Venue may also fail to fill an order or fail to refund it. When that happens, the funds are with the Venue, and you must contact that Venue directly to resolve it. We may, as a courtesy, help you identify the right Venue and the transaction details it will ask for, but we have no obligation to do so and no ability to release, recover or refund funds held by a Venue.

Links to third-party sites and tools are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or conduct.

9. No fiduciary duty

Ranking routes is not a recommendation, and it does not make us your agent, adviser or fiduciary. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BRDG owes you no fiduciary duty, and you decide for yourself whether and how to use any route.

10. No professional advice

Nothing on the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Information about routes, fees, prices and timing is provided for general information only. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions that depend on it.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy.

We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that quotes will be accurate or executable, or that any route will be the best one available.

12. Assumption of risk and release

You understand and accept that using blockchains and cross-chain bridges carries risk, including:

  • smart contract bugs, exploits and hacks, in BRDG or any Venue or blockchain;
  • price movement, slippage and changes in fees between quote and execution;
  • network congestion, chain halts, reorganisations and failed transactions;
  • loss of access to your wallet, or signing a transaction with incorrect details;
  • a Venue refusing, delaying, holding, freezing or flagging a transfer, or failing to refund one; and
  • changes in law or regulation that affect digital assets or the Service.

You use the Service at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release BRDG and its operators, contributors and affiliates from claims arising from the acts or omissions of any Venue, blockchain, wallet or other third party, and from losses caused by the risks above.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BRDG and its operators, contributors and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of anyone else's rights.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BRDG and its operators, contributors and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or digital assets, arising from or related to the Service, even if we were told such loss was possible.

We are not liable for funds that are lost, delayed, frozen, held or flagged by a Venue, a bridge, a blockchain or a wallet.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service or these Terms is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so some of the above may not apply to you. Where that is the case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

15. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, including the Venues and chains it supports, at any time. We may also update these Terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including if we believe you have breached these Terms or that your use creates legal risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive, including those on fees, risk, disclaimers, indemnification and limitation of liability, survive termination.

17. Severability and waiver

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent possible and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

18. Entire agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and BRDG about the Service, and they replace any earlier understanding. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a reorganisation or sale.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to the contact channels listed in the documentation.
